Music Class

Nick and Norah began Baby and Me Music class last week. It involves advanced musical skills like swaying, playing with scarves, and shaking an egg shaker. Apparently, Norah has some room to improve since she would rather eat her egg than shake it. Even so, Nick is considering petitioning the teacher to move her up to level two.

Six (Yes, Six) Month Photos

We finally decided which photos to order from Norah's six month photo shoot. Now that we have the digital images, we thought you might like to enjoy a few of them again.

Baby's First Sign!

Norah was at church with me late on Thursday night due to a wedding rehearsal. As I was packing my things to get her home, she started fussing, so I asked her, "What do you want?" AND SHE MADE THE SIGN FOR MILK!!! And then she ate heartily.

Rocky Mountain Showdown

The Buffs took on the Rams in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, and the Buffs won! We were given no preferential treatment as season ticket holders, though. We were in the second to last row of Mile High. It was a great view to appreciate the marching band formations.

Go Buffs!

Thanks to Mom and Dad's alumni rates, we now have season tickets to CU football games. Today marked Norah's first football game ever which was unfortunate becase teething woes left her not feeling her best. In order to be at 100% by next week's CSU game, she's opted out of going to the Bronco's Monday night football game with Daddy. Plus, it seems appropriate to cut her teeth on collegiate football before moving up to the big leagues (although she'd rather not be cutting teeth at all right now).

Who doesn't think spinach, mango, and mung beans make a great game time snack?

Football is exhausting. No need to let the cheering crowds get in the way of a good nap.

Next to Godliness

While nothing surpasses the dogs, the next most exciting thing in our house is the dishwasher. Anytime we're doing dishes, Norah pulls herself up next to the door and screams with delight. But it's not the whole dishwasher that's exciting - it's the Jet Dry nozzle that's truly spectacular.
