New-Day on Tuesday

It was all about new experiences yesterday with Popos as Norah showed off a new swimming suit in Aqua Shrimps (a scandalous two-piece!) and then tried to catch butterflies at the butterfly pavilion.

Girls Night!

While Nick and I took a few days away over spring break, Norah had girls night with Kim, Mariah, and Nana. Actually, she had two girls nights! It was great to have a few days as a couple with no baby, and Norah had so much fun playing with Nana and her aunts - before spending an afternoon playing with some of her cousins.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We decidedly did not have the luck o' the Irish today as we tried to make it to our family's tailgating spot to watch the parade. After spending two hours commuting the two miles, we gave up and went to Kim and Bridger's house. Norah's face in the second photo sums up how we all felt about the parade.

One Year Photos

We received digital copies of Norah's one year photos today, so I thought I would post them so you could enjoy them again.

Take Your Daughter to Work Day

When Nick took Norah to work yesterday, she spent a lot of time playing - and a few moments admiring a family photo.

Back to the Zoo

The amazing weather coaxed us to the zoo yesterday where Norah took an interest in the animals for the first time. Speaking of firsts, she also said her first sentence - twice! Her profound words? "I don't know."

Another Milestone

After getting to the top of these stairs, Norah turned around and WALKED down them.

While the Cat's Away...

I headed to Dallas for the Next Conference and for my first nights away from Norah. I expected to be miserable, but the only misery came from sharing the hotel with countless sequins-laden, big-hair-sporting, elastic-wearing Dallas high school cheerleaders. Other than the chronic feeling that I was forgetting something (diaper bag? baby? why were my arms so unencumbered?), it was great to relax and enjoy a few days with the best of friends.

Norah was no worse for the wear during my absence. Quite the opposite.
