The Wedding Fashion Show Continues...

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Nick's birthday a week early with a trip to the Rockies v. Mariners game.  (We rooted for the Mariners but still wore purple.)  Jordan and Sarah happened to be at the game too, so we were able to spend some time with them.  By far, Norah's favorite part of the game was nacho cheese.  She loved dipping the chips, wiping them up and down the bleachers and then eating them.  Either she is building her immune system, or she will get Giardia. 

15 Month Stats

At her 15 month appointment, Norah logged in at:

Height - 31 inches (50%)
Weight - 20 pounds, 10 ounces (10%)

The Day the Music Died (Or, Took a Summer Hiatus)

On Monday, Nick and Norah had a farewell party for their year-long music class.  They demonstrated their scarf-waving, stick-banging, toe-tapping talents.  Norah also repeatedly demonstrated her Buddha belly.  Apparently, she felt the moment warranted a little belly cleavage.  Most interesting for me was meeting Baby Vaughn (never just Vaughn) who I heard about all year.  In spite of the androgynous name and clothing, you would be wise not to confuse her for a boy.  You would also be wise not to use the word "no" in her presence.  Her parents don't believe in parenting with the word no, so they are quick to say, "Better choices, Baby Vaughn."

An Unorthodox Bridal Shower

We put on our boots and hats, headed over to the Grizzly Rose and started line dancing in honor of Kim and Bridger.  While a co-ed, Saturday night bridal shower in a bar is a bit unconventional, it was a ton of fun and only made us more excited for the wedding!  Seven weeks and counting!



Morning Smoothie

Norah is obssessed with her morning smoothie, and this morning she had a pretty great mustache.  

Work Day 2

The highlight of this month's work day was Nick in his skivvies.  Bridger played the "I am the groom; I can't catch a disease in the pond" card, so Nick stripped off his pants.  Who knows what clothing he'll lose next month.  

Off to Work

This morning, Norah somehow sensed that she was going to spend time at work with me today, so she packed her work bag.

Go Rockies!

Nick and Norah headed to Coors Field for their first Rockies game of the season which left me home alone for two hours.  Really, everyone wins in this scenario.  

What a Master!

No longer content with her M.R.S. degree, Mariah graduated today with her Masters of Education.  We loved celebrating with her, but we are going to petition Regis to begin their graduations later in the day - enough of these dawn ceremonies!

Pearl Street Field Trip

Norah and Nana took a field trip to Pearl Street to smell the flowers.  They also took time for a falafel picnic on the courthouse lawn.  

Towhead Wedding

At a recent Goose Creek work day, Norah got to know Wes, her partner in crime for Kim and Bridger's Wedding.  They shared an affinity for gravel (although Wes liked to rake it, and Norah liked to eat it), a skepticism about wheelbarrows, and, of course, their towheads.
