Another Questionable Fashion Choice

My Dee

Knowing she was going to spend yesterday playing with Deanna, Norah spent the morning impatiently whining until Dee arrived: "My Dee, Mama, My Dee."  Once Dee was at our house, Norah told me to "move, move move," she pushed me out of her bedroom door, said "Bye, bye, Mama," and shut the door in my face.  Clearly, no one is more fun than Dee!

Christmas Decorating

Trying to get the tree up before T4's arrival, we spent today decorating for Christmas.  Norah thought it was ridiculously silly that we put a tree on top of the car and then in the house.

Even with all of the decorations, Norah was most taken with the creche.  She loves to move the people in and out of their "house."  The first several times we asked her what the baby's name was she answered "Nana."  Much to Nana's dismay, she now answers "Jesus."

After putting the baby in his bed and telling him "night-night," Norah left the room.  A little while later, she came back with her favorite blanket and her sippy cup and gave them to the baby.  Sweet girl.

And the day ended with our favorite Christmas decorating tradition: Little Man Ice Cream.

Klooster Visit

We had a great time hanging out with the Kloosters last month when they came for a visit.  As much as Nick and I enjoyed seeing them, Norah was completely taken with the big girls and loved mimicking everything they did.  We can't wait to see them again!

Eight Month Belly

Civic Duty

Norah joined us as the first in line to vote in Tuesday's election.  Unfortunately, she brought her stomach flu with her, and one minute before the doors opened, she vomited all over her and me.  Not wanting to lose our place in line, we cleaned up as best we could and went in to vote.  While it looked like she was going to vomit on my ballot at one point, we made it out without further incident.  Then we spent the rest of the week home sick together.  I don't recommend getting the stomach flu while eight months pregnant.  It's particularly unpleasant.

House of Bounce

Norah and Alexa joined Nick, Rick, Mariah, Joani, Brian and Jordan at the House of Bounce to blow off some steam in Steamboat.  As you can see from Norah's hair, it was an electric experience.
